Hi,
I'd like to try adding kernel 2.6 to an hd install of DSL. Could someone please point me to some direction ? Since I am interested in learning how to boot from a different kernel, DSL-N is not a choice. Also, i don't feel like I am up to the task of recompiling a kernel, so is there a source of precompiled ones for DSL ? I am trying to install DSL on a SATA drive. I'd give DSL 2.1b a try and it recognised my hd, but it fails to work after hd install due to kernel panic problems.
Any clue will be appreciated, thxs!
