Is there anyway to upgrade from an old version of DSL to a new version of DSL without having to go through the hassle ( small though it maybe) of
backing up files.. doing the install and reinstalling and untaring the archive ?

Possibly through apt-get ?  I am currently using version 7.0 .  THere is no MyDSL in the emel file manager.

THanks !
MARK

don't think that is possible sadly. maybe they will include an update option for hdinstalls in the future.
