My system is as follows: The first HD is 160 gig and has my primary OS which is Xandros. A second partition has Windows XP Pro which I use for graphics mainly. A second HD is 80 gig and has W98SE which I use for file sharing while a second partition on this drive has DSL 9.
When you install DSL to the hard drive it does make mention of the problems of booting alongside Windows, but is there a solution?
What happened was that I started with a clean disk and created two partitions. I installed W98 first, then DSL. The Xandros boot loader recognised both the operating systems, but W98 would not boot. So I re-installed W98, and DSL wouldn't boot. So I re-installed DSL and W98 wouldn't boot, which is where I am at now.
Any ideas, anyone?
