verify your .iso file with the "md5sum YOUR.iso" command in linux (I don't recall where to get the M$ md5sum) and match it against the YOUR.md5.txt from the DSL mirror site you used. (replace "YOUR" with the version/name of the file you actually downloaded. That will help figure out if you have a iso problem or burn problem... still could be something else.
