I use 7-zip for windows (run under wine from DSL) to extract the files in the dsl archive then I just manually delete the files.

I have very little space on this harddrive, so I would like to uninstall some of the programs that came with the cd now that I have done a harddrive installation... like, I really don't need xpaint, games, etc. is there a way? It looked like those instructions up there were for .dsl extensions that you can optionally add to the cd rather than standard programs that john (I assume that's the guy who wrote this) added to the cd.
