I have an old acer comp with a cd drive that it cant boot from. THe drive can also not read burn disks, so I have to do a floppy install. I really have no idea what to do so could someone please explain how to do it to me?

I used 2 pc connected via parallel port with a cable.
The 2 pc have both a 50MB partitition.
I copied the dsl cd in the partition of the first pc.
I started both pc with norton ghost and copied the data from the first pc to the second.

actually I decided to put in a cd drive from another comp to get this to work, but I have to put it back. How would I go about installing from a boot floppy and the disk?
