Ok I have a old Compaq Armada 1571 DM (1 USB Port) with DSL 1.0rc1. Now my problem is that sometimes I have my USB mouse with me and some times I just use my onboard laptop one. Now when I got to Xsetup it offer a USB mouse or a imps/2 mouse. The former i use with my usb mouse while the with the latter i use with my laptop mouse. I want to be able to use both at the same time.

I have resolved this problem by getting a old PS/2 wireless mouse and hooking it up. But still is it possible.

What is the problem exactly? I don't think I really understand your inquiry... ;)

Thanks!

i think he wants multiple pointers.
Pretty sure it can be done by adding a second pointer to your X configuration file (/etc/X11/XF86Config?).  I know this is how tablets are added as secondary pointer, but i don't know the details.

If the PS/2 port already works fine, then why not use one of those little USB-to-PS2 green adapters for your USB mouse?
