I'm basically trying to utilize a Compact Flash card and PCMCIA adapter to install DSL onto a laptop with no CDROM. It can boot from the floppy drive, but then I need to find a way to get it to mount the 64 MB CF card, and do a full hard drive install from there.
I have seen the posts about installing via network with a boot floppy, and installing using lots of floppies, but I do not have easy access to a LAN connection, and would rather not have to purchase a case of floppies.
Any help in accomplishing this kind of installation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David
