First off i've been not doing my revision for the past 2 weeks, instead been playing with DSL on an EPIA 5000. I was so impressed by DSL i bought 2 * 256 CF cards for it. One as Master the other as slave on the only IDE channel this board has.
Installing from a USB Pen, i found i got this error on boot
"LILO - TIMESTAMP MISMATCH"
after a quick searchie or two, i found that this was probably due to the other CF card, but i hadn't partitioned hdb!
I'm installed to a 256meg partion hda1, which is of course bootable, theres no swapfile either.
i can't figure out whats corsing this problem, driving me a little nuts, and i don't particually want to have to switch to grub, when i don't understand how that courses a timestamp error.
the BIOS is set not to boot other devices, and HD0 is the only device set to boot.
any ideas?
thanks.
