How do I install DSL into HD? This is my first time. Please go slow.

Well, it depends on your system and what you want to have after DSL is installed. If you want a computer with only DSL on it follow the instructions in the link someone else gave you. If you just want to add DSL to an existing system, you need an empty Linux partition available before you start. Let us know what you want to do and we can give you more help.
