Is there a written procedure for hd install with grub? I have other linux's on my box using grub & don't want to complicate things adding lilo.
I found a script for frugal but not hd.
I tried installing dsl & then booting with knoppix & installing grub but nogo.
Looking at dsl's boot dir I see no initrd or vmlinuz. I suspect thats the problem.
Any scripts or written instructions anywhere?

Look on the documentation page under booting DSL. You will see the necessary grub entries.

that worked, thanks.
I'd read that b4 & it passed right by.
Had to lose the 'makeactive' as I'm on 2nd hd but it booted!
Surprised myself.
