I would like to know how to do this, too.
In my office, I have a cable connection and I can download things pretty fast. But at home I can only use a phone connection, and at 33600 bps, it's kinda slow.
If there is a way we can download the packages needed for the HD installation, burn them on a CD, and then install them using DSL, it could be wonderful. All we need then is a CD-RW and presto!
Please consider this for the next version of DSL, John...
