Hello

I want to install DSL on a laptop, Pentium 133 MHz, 32 Meg ram and 1.4 Gig hdd. I have Window$98 on /dev/hda1 and if I want to install DSL with the command "sudo -u root dsl-hdinstall" on partition /dev/hda4 it will start with the installation but after 5 minutes the computer will hang and I need to reset it.

How can I solve this problem or what am I doing wrong ? ?

Best Regards

I have installed DSL on a 166 Mhz laptop, what I found is that the text for the screen is 10 lines below the bottom of the screen.   Something about old laptops not being VERSA complient maybe? It is almost as if the Linux penguin is 10 lines high, maybe that messes things up?  Bill Savoie
