Open the emelfm file manager.
Navigate to the
/mnt
directory. Then Right-Click on one of your mountpoints. Typically, an existing Windows partition can be found somewhere like "hda1" or "hda2".
Then choose "Mount" from the Right-Click menu.
The files from your C:\ drive will hopefully appear.
FYI, for NTFS formatted partitions (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003) DSL has read-only access to them because Microsoft will not publish the information needed to be able to write to this filesystem format.
However, it is pretty easy to use a USB pendrive to move files back and forth and you can always use an old MSDOS or FAT32 (Windows 98/ME) data partition for transfers.
Finally, as a workaround you can e-mail the file to yourself to an account like yahoo or gmail and then download the attachment when you are running Windows.
