Hello,
I succed to boot with a floppy on a partition with /knoppix/knoppix (ISO file ?)

Structure of my hard drive :
hda1 : Copy of knoppix (fat) 60 Mo
hda2 : Swap 256Mo
hda3 : / 650Mo
hda4 : for data and backup of the configuration files

I boot on the floppy with the system on hda1. I run as it says on the how-to the hd-install to hda3 then, i make the mkliloboot.

After reboot, my system don't launch lilo and says that is no system installed. The active partition is hda3...

The mkliloboot makes errors or warnings.
What is the command line to write the message on a file to show you the errors ? Or Is it a known problem ?

I think that the mkliloboot is confused by my hda1 in read-only.
I will try "sudo lilo -C /mnt/hda3/etc/lilo.conf -M /dev/hda mbr"
<<

Thanks for all,
Pouy.
