Another on the list -
System = Sony laptop, P-II 300MHz, 64MB RAM, 4GB HD, PCMCIA modem and NIC.
v7.1 installed fine, then I saw you had a v7.2 - d/led and ran -runs fine, tried install - no go, rebooted and ran a runlevel 2 and tried from there - still no go, realized I had been using the following startup command: dsl dma xvesa enhance so re-ran cfdisk, removed all partitions, recreated one for / one for swap, rebooted with no commands - same result - v7.2 will not install: "Sorry system has not detected a Linux partition."
