Tried typing: cfdisk /dev/hdb?
Otherwise it won't see the second drive.

I've tried /dev/hdb and also /dev/hdc with no luck.  It's the primary drive on the second IDE bus so wouldn't that be /dev/hdc?  And when I use cfdisk the primary drive (Win98 FAT32) shows up and when I hit the up or down arrow keys I get a message that there are no other drives present.  I may just end up wiping Win98 off the 2GB drive and attempt to install DSL on that and see if I can mount /dev/hdc afterwards.

Same problem w/ another system I'm trying to get Linux running on.  Windows can detect and use it but Linux just doesn't seem to "see" it.  I've even tried changing my jumpers on the drive from primary to cable select on the other system but no luck there.  And it's the only drive on the system sans the CD-R drive.
