Those commands are not typed at the first boot prompt. Boot up from CD, then select Xshell and at that prompt type your command. |
Hi, I am also attempting to install it on to my harddrive. The unit is white box Petium 133 16MB, 2gig Hd Yes I know I should have more memory but this is all I have for now. I booted from the cd , I am on the main screen I right click and the menu comes up I highlight XSHELL a second menu appears and I click on XSHELLS And nothing happens. It just sets there and does not do anything.

In fact other itemes on the menu also do not seem to work. What do you think do I have a bad copy of DSL ? I checked the cd out and another machine and is worked oK. I wonder how people have got this to run 486's? So what now?
