I have a 120 gig hd, need to install non-mydsl apps: fetchmail, courier, procmail, postfix, spamassassin.
I fdisked the drive, made a little partition of 300 megs. I used the Apps->Tools->Install To HD. The html popup page on DSL login says nothing about needing swap space, but I've since seen references to swap in the forums. Do I need swap? I've got 512 M memory chip, thought I wouldn't need swap.
To install the apps I need, I'll partition the remaining free space on HD. How do I tell DSL about that space, and get him to install and run apps there?
