I noticed on the Rhapsody site that there is a Firefox plugin, which works with Linux. When you click on "Log In," you'll see installation instructions in the popup. Follow them and you'll get a sign up prompt. If you have a Rhapsody account, click on "Log In." If not, you can sign up for a trial of 25 plays per month. After logging in, you find the desired song and click the play icon next to it. A popup will appear with the playback controls.
When I tried playing a song, I heard nothing. Do I need to have RealPlayer installed? Or is it the Firefox setup in DSL that's causing the problems?
Note: In order for a RealPlayer extension to appear in the repository, the DSL developers or mirror maintainers would have to get permission from RealNetworks. Because of that, you would have to install it with the bin file from the RealPlayer site.
