I posted this in the myDSL part of the forum but have had no luck.

I want to use Skype in my DSL install but no matter what I try I cannot get the sound to work.

I am using a 5 way install and have installed ALSA.dsl etc.

Audacity works fine, records and plays sound but Skype refuses to play any sound either when dialing or receiving a call (or during the call itself).

Has anyone else got this to work?

If the sound works with other programs then it must be a problem with skype.

I would start with the skype troubleshooter:

If that doesn't work then try their forums:
