Quote (^thehatsrule^ @ April 14 2007,00:46) | Well if you want an official client, there's one in mydsl. |
When I go to watch a bbc streaming video on their web page, it give me the choice of windows media player or realplayer.
In mydsl - multimedia I don't see a realplayer package but I can see mplayer.dsl, mplayerplug-in.dsl, mplayer-xfree86.
Which of these do I need to install, or are ther other better ones in there? If so which would work? Thanks.
In mydsl - UCI I see realplayer.uci , but when I select it, the cancel/download box is empty, if I click download it just returns error (but there appears nothing in the box to download) I have a frugal install and I read UCIs don't work with frugal (in this post about opera http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....l=opera ). AM I wrong, or should it work, is the download site temporarily down, or is there another way to work it in frugal? or another option for internet steaming media? Thanks.
