Hi,

I want to use DSL with my Asus A8V mainboard with an onboard ethernet controller from marvell.

Here in the forum I read somwhere that it is not supported by DSL and to support it would mean to recomile the whole thing.

My question is:
Does that mean that support for the marvel driver is not planned for dsl in the near future?

It would be so nice if this driver find its way into dsl, because the asus a8v board is wide spread (cheap&good) and it would make using dsl even more fun!

Greets,
Klaus

Try the sk98lin (SysKonnect) driver already in DSL, otherwise, the latest Marvell driver is here

Hi,

this did not answer my question.

Right now DSL does not work out of the box together with my marvell network card, which is integrated on my asus motherboard.

It is not automatically detected at boot time. This problem is well known.

My question is: Will this situation change in the future?

Greets,
Klaus

PS: Nevertheless: Thank you for your reply.
