I have installes the correct driver for a Dlink DWLG630 wireless card. When I use the command ndiswrapper in the root directory the response is as follows...

Installed ndis drivers:
net5211 driver present, hardware present
netcard invalid driver!

Any suggestions to get the card working.

note: the drivers are copied from the install disk. The latest from dlink are only available as an .exe file and I cannot get the inf out of this file.

Thnak you

It appears that there are a number of different drivers recommended for this ndiswrapper and this card, depending on ther version.  Check this page for more info:

You need 2 files for ndiswrapper - inf and sys files. Please check if net5211.inf and ar5211.sys are in the same directory (such as /home/dsl/)?

Thanks for the advice. I do have all the correct files, both drivers and system files but the card still fails the connection. I have also tries ndiswrapper as well as madwifi. Nothing allows the connection. Any suggestions? I really like DSL but I might have to try another lite distro in order to get the wireless working. I hope not though.
