Man I'd say this has been the most helpful information yet:) I'm gonna try this out when I get back from pickin up my friend. Okay but what is the "DSLpanel" Also when installing the driver's for example the madwifi driver do I use ndiswrapper to install it? I did try that before not sure if I installed the right file but it said >ndiswrapper -l (driver) invalid driver!

As for my Senao card to my understanding it uses the prism2.5 chip. I was thinkin maybe it could be a problem with my pc socket but at boot it does say it found it starting cardmgr then somewhere else in the boot it indicates "no sockets found"? I really appreciate the info and help, BIG Thanks:)

The DSLpanel is right there on your desktop.

No no no.  MADWiFi is a native Linux driver.  Read the info file as I said before.
ndiswrapper is for "wrapping" a Window$ driver.  Use it only when there is no Linux driver available.

To check whether your system is recognising the Senao card, run these 2 commands in an xterminal - "cardctl status" and "cardctl ident"

Man I'm gettin sooooo close. I downloaded the madwifi driver for my Atheros card and I forgot I've tried that before but when I goto open it, it asks to open it with what. This time I chose the wireless configuration and it said no wireless card found. Last time I didn't know what to open it with. I ran the cardctl status and cardctl ident commands on both cards and got the same result "No such device". No I just checked out like the main page and realized DSL is "Damn Small Linux". I have been using whoppix 2.7. Is that any different? Did I attmept to install the madwifi driver correctly?

Tempestuous man your good. You explain things in a more user friendly way for noobs with linux:) Just to verify if I could my actual pc socket is a Texas Instruments PCI-1620 Cardbus controller with UltraMedia. It does day at boot PCMCIA Found starting cardmgr. So my socket is fine right?
