You should run ndiswrapper -m command after ndiswrapper -l :-
Code Sample | ndiswrapper -i filename.inf ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers: bcmwl5 driver present, hardware present
ndiswrapper -m
Adding "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" to /etc/modprobe.conf
