Ok, I bought this card because it was supposed to be the easiest to get running, but.......I must be really dense. I have tried all the gui tools and futzed around with manual configs too, but no progress. The strange part is: ifconfig=nothing iwconfig=wlan0, no wireless extensions
dmesg= cardmgr: /sbin/ifup wlan0 cardmgr: IBBS not started, resultcode=invalid_parameters cardmgr: run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/linux-wlan-ng_pre-up exited with a return code 1
I tried adding it manually to /etc/network/interfaces but still doesnt work. Machine is a Thinkpad 380z, p2=266, 64Mb
