I know I have to enable apt-get,

What package should I get to install NFS server?

What do I need to do to keep the settings? Please let me know all the folders/files to backup to keep all the settings intact.

Thanks

I would try one of these:

apt-get install nfs-kernel-server

or

apt-get install nfs-user-server

I don't use NFS, so I can't help you with the settings/files.

Check this out:

http://www.serverelements.com/naslite.php

It's an NFS server that runs from a floppy! Very cool for old hardware and such. I think it supports harddrives up to 250gb (x4).
