I have only been given 1 choice in 2 locations. T-moblie at a cafe, and my home network at home. When I set up my card with iwconfig (located on the dsl control panel) I leave the essid blank (which is the same as "" right?) I get connected to the above mentioned wifi networks.

If there is any other wifi networks avaliable, will iwconfig display them and/or give me the option to connect to them (assuming they are open and not encrypted)?

That function is not implemented with Prism2. Does anyone know what is the equivalent?
