Try checking here:

Also, you could try the "Search" button at the top of the screen. Enter a keyword. Then choose ALL OPEN FORUMS, Search from THE BEGINNING and NEWER.

Also, DSL version 0.6.x is now based on KNOPPIX 3.3, so some wireless cards that did not work with the old versions of DSL will now work correctly.

Finally, you could go to the KNOPPIX forums and see if any information exists on gettting your wireless card working with KNOPPIX.  The solution will probably also work on DSL.

Good Luck.

tried the solution for the above links and looked at knoppix forums, but still no luck  :(  (DSL doesn't have the make command in bash....i think, cause i always get an error)

I am having the same problem. I know where to get the source code to build the Atmos driver - which is what I had to do for my other Linux boxes, but there doesn't seem to be a development environment in DSL, or the necessary Kernel Source and Headers.

Help!

Thanks,
Ewan

from what i can figure out, form asking a lot of questions and googling a lot, USB lan and wlan are not yet (fully) supported by linux. more specifically, we have problems with broadcasting DHCP from a USB bus... but some support is implemented in the 2.6.7 kernel, i believe. just don't expect DSL to use THAT any time soon :p
