At first I wanted to say sorry for my poor english,I`m Russian,
and I`m new to LINUX and DSL is my first UNIX-class OS.
Looks like Dsl doesn`t recognize my modem
I have - Acorp 56-pim v.90 conexant HCF 56K speakerphone ,PCI,internal.
I wanted to ask ,is it possible to make DSL to work with this modem and if yes then may be somebody could tell me
how to do it.

Winmodems with Linux is a problem but you may be in luck with conexant. Look here first: http://www.linmodems.org/ You can find more with a Google search. Hope this helps.
