i have installed DSL 2.4 on an old compaq preasrio 1600, with only 53MB of ram.
i am trying to get to work an old SMC2635w wireless PCMCIA card, but i have a great of trouble making it happen.
i tried ndiswrapper with the drivers that i dowload from the manufactuerer's website...
after i execture "modprobe ndiswrapper" i get the following line from dmesg
ndiswrapper version 1.14 loaded (preempt=np, smp=yes) ndiswrapper: driver net2635w (SMC Networks Inc., 09/07/2003, 1.80.907.2003) loaded PCI: Unable to reserve I/O region #1:100@4000 for device 01:00.0 ndiswrapper (start_pdo:321): couln't request PCI regions: fffffff0
can someone please suggest how i should proceed?
thank you in advance...
