I have been reading some info on The Linux Terminal Server Project.  Using old pc's as thin clients for a server.  Has anyone used DSL to accomplish this?  It would seem great to use a small distro with a few added programs LTSP to have on server in a home or office network and recycle old equipment.  Let me know I would love to try this.

Without a full blown terminal server edition, DSL does support the "rdesktop" MS thin client protocol.  It also supports the vncviewer for remote connections from a vnc server.

Last, but not least, you can use XWindows itself as a client/server windowing system.  Therefore, you can have a more powerful computer serving the applications and use your DSL system as an XWindows terminal.

So it is possible. It just won't magically pop into thin client mode on bootup without some tweaking by yourself.
