I love DSL, but I need wireless support. I have tried a Linksys WMP11 (prism chipset, which I understand should work, but I think mine is defective). I have tried a ZEW1601 from Zonet (ralink rt2500 chipset). It should maybe work under ndiswrapper? However I'm not that smart. I've also tried a Motorola WU830G (a usb adapter). I've had no luck.
What I really want here is someone to recommend a wireless adapter that I can take out the box and install in my desktop box running DSL and turn it on and it work. I'm tired of jumping through hoops.
I also have a WPC11 (pcmcia) from Linksys that I've used in my laptop running DSL and it works seamlessly.
Could I use a pcmcia to pci adapter and use it in my desktop?
