hello everybody, I've just entered the wonderful world of linux systems :-) and I need a bit of help. I made an HD install of DSL on a Pentium 200 Mhz, 64MB ram (having also tried Xubuntu, too big for that). DSL runs like a dream, I can't get the NIC working though. I got an ISA network card (RTL8019). Neither LiveCD nor HD install detects the card. Could it be an IRQ problem, not supported or simply, a faulty card? I have three PCIs (all occupied, s3 card, voodoo card and soundblaster) and four ISAs on the motherboard (all of them unoccupied, except for the NIC). How can I check if there's an IRQ problem? The LED on the card goes green when I connect the cable to the router. DSL reports simply "no network card found".
