Hi All!
I have a strange problem with DSL. After I installed DSL 3.0.1 I wasn't able to reactivate WOL through "sudo ethtool -s eth1 wol g". In a earlier Version (<2.5, don't know anymore) using WOL was no problem, also ethtool worked with the network card driver. I didn't change any hardware or BIOS settings. But now ethtool is reporting that the WOL-option couldn't be set. So where is the problem? Are there other driver used in new version of DSL, especially other versions of the "via-rhine" driver? I heared that ethtool isn't able to deal with all netcard drivers. I also upgraded ethtool and via-rhine drivers to newest versions but it didn't help.
I'm definitely sure that my motherboard ASUS A7V600 is able to handle Wake on Lan. Please help! Greetz baeschtu
