So it appears that the Netgear WG511T is almost supported out of the box in DSL 3.0.1.  The drivers (ath_hal and ath_pci) exist, and the OS tries to insert them into the kernel.  Unfortunately, the driver is an older version than what works with this chipset (Atheros AR5212).  While it wasn't too difficult to discover this information, finding a way to build the new drivers in to DSL is a bit daunting for a new user like me.
I guess what I'm asking is, am I on the right track?
(I'd be more than happy to post lspci or dmesg or lsmod or whatever you may need, I just don't want to clutter up the post un-necessarily.)
Thanks for any help.
