Hi,
I have a Tecra 8000 laptop (133 MHz, 64 RAM, 1Gig)
I am trying to use a DLink DWL-G122 wireless adapter to connect to a Lynksys wireless b router.
I believe I have installed the drivers installed properly, as when I type iwconfig wlan0
it says:
IEEE 802.11g ESSID:off/any Mode: Managed Frequency: 2.437GHz Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00 Bit Rate: 2Mb/s Tx-Power: 32 dBm RTS thr:2432 B Fragment thr: 2432 B Encryption key: off Power Managemnet: off Link Qality: 0 Signal leve: 0 Noise level: 0 Rx invalie nwid: 0 Rx invalid crypt: 0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries: 0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon: 0
when i type ndiswrapper -v in the terminal, it says there is a device called wlan0, with the drivers installed, and the hardware is present.
Does anyone know how I can configure the wireless nic to browse the internet?
thanks in advance
scott
