orinoco gold is well supported.
What is the output of iwconfig with no parameters?
Are you using wep?

I have tried both web and no wep. I dont know how to copy the output of a shell command so i can paste it here. THe link quality is 0/92 though and access point is 44:44:44:44:44:44:. I have tried, sudo iwconfig | beaver, but it doesnt work. I also have a xircom wired card hooked up to a different router. I dont think im having a IP confict as currently im on 192.168.0.1 and have tried 192.168.2.1 for wireless. My router is a dlink DI- 524 and is on mixed mode not just 802.11g

edit: if its any help i have a flashing light on this card when the n/w is down. When using Ad-Hoc with wlanconfig it stays on but still doesnt work. but i asume i want default managed.

Also in dmesg i have " error setting multicast list!

Cut and Paste is covered in the Gettting Started document. Click Dillo if you have disabled it. Use mouse to highlite area from shell and then paste by using clicking third button in forum reply area, or two button emulaton.

I doubt your access point is 44:44:44:44...
How have you tried to configure it? Manually or gui.

You should be able to the iwconfig gui in the dslpanel.
I use orinoco pcmcia card and the iwconfig gui works fine.
