If you look at the linuxant web site (http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/), they have a number of drivers for Conexant modems - I compiled a HSF driver for my Intel/Conexant modem under DSL-N but I didn't get round to this under DSL.

You can download a free deb package (limited to 14.4k) to check if the driver will work with your modem.
