Please help me with the following puzzle:
I'm trying to use a Orinoco Gold wireless card in an old Toshiba Tecra notebook. The card works well without encryption and MAC filtering on the router as well as with encryption (WPA-TKIP) and MAC filtering under Win2K.
With my harddisk install of DSL 3.2, however, the card is not issued a Network number through DHCP once WPA is on on the router. I can't even get as far as trying to use wpa_supplicant, as I'm not being dealt a TCP/IP number.
Is anyone able to give me a complete walkthrough for WPA-TKIP with DSL-Linux?
Please assume nothing, I'm just feeling my way around DSL.
Thanks, Robert
