I had a disc crash on a red hat system today. As a first measure to recover files I managed to get DSL running from a cd. The first disc is gone, but the second one, containing the important stuff, is ok and I can mount it. Also I have a network connection. I now need to transfer those files to a windows box. FTP seems to be a good idea. I tried some logins via FTP but I am asked a password that I don't know. Also I probably need to adjust the FTP server to access the mounted hard drive and will need root rights to do that. Can someone tell me what the passwords for the standard DSL-user dsl and for root are? Also could someone show me to the FTP servers configuration file? thank you,
Paul

There are no passwords (use sudo).
