This is driving me nuts can anyone help?

Previously my DSL config worked fine on my Toshiba Libretto. I had a Orinoco Silver card installed and it worked absolutely perfectly.

I had to replace my wireless router over the weekend, and set it up with WEP support.  Previously it was completely open.

All the other machines on my network connect fine, once I configured the WEP key on the appropriate network section.

Now my card in my DSL wont connect, it wont acquire an IP address and is effectively dead.  The LEDS light up when its polling for a DHCP address but it doesnt succesfully get an IP.

If I go into netcardconfig it takes me through all the relevant screens and I enter the WEP key in the relevant section, but to no avail.

Can anybody help me with some advice on how I can get things working again?

Is there a GUI based wireless network browser that might make things a little easier?

Thanks

Hey Torp

No I haven't tried the pump command.  Sorry without wanting to appear a complete noob can you tell me what to do, and I'll give it a whirl!

Thanks

sorry i was so long in replying, looks like you figured out how to use the "pump" command. i have an at&t plug n' share card. i was told is was an orinoco card with an at&t wrapper. i don't use WEP, so i can't speak to that, but here is my wifi script;

ifconfig ath0 up
iwconfig ath0 "essid"
pump -i ath0

this gets me up and running everytime. hope it helps.
