I am using TP-LINK card(WN550G -PCI, AR5212 Chipset) with my SBC and DSL version 3.2. After booting the card is getting detected and I tried configuring the card with wlcardconfig [B][I] utility. Succesfully with out any errors it has taken me up to the last step.In the configuration I have set all the required things with Ad-hoc for mode option.After this configuration whenever I type iwconfig ath0 to see the wlreless configuration settings Mode still remains Managed.The same thing for Mater mode too. Can any one please help in this.I am trying to put the card in Ad-hoc to support OLSR mesh utility.

Am I doing any silly mistakes, really I am not aware of this error intensity...if any one can give some hints it will be really helpfull...

Thanks Roberts thanks for taking some time!

But I am not able to find this command "wlanconfig" in DSL version 3.2. All that I found was

a) wlancfg -- With this I tried to configure but I am not able to do is this equivalent to wlanconfig??
b) wlanctl-ng
c) wland
d) iwconfig
e) wlcardconfig -- GUI to configure interface.
