Hi cowboy. I had the same results as you, so I installed Firebird from the DSL repository and all is good ................. give it a whirl.

Dang, forgot about looking at other shares on the network. I haven't tinkered with that yet. However (I'm not at my DSL box right now), SAMBA should be the answer to that. Start the samba service if it isn't started by default, or install samba if it isn't present, then start it of course. Then ,,,,,,,,,,, Well I haven't tinkered at all with that yet, but if either Dillo or Links are smb protocol compliant, you would type for example smb://computername or IP/sharename. You will also want to add the computer name and IP to the hosts file on your DSL box.
