booting DSL on my PC's (two:desktop and laptop) has been easy..everything is fine and I like DamnSmallLinux very much..but...I am trying to get connected with a Speedtouch adsl 330( byAlcatel,the purple one).
This modem goes nice with WindowsXP,but I can't find a way to get it working with DSL.
Found drivers somewhere but I do not know where I could start...(please note I am running live CD and did not do yet HD install)

Is there someone using the same Speedtouch modem with Damn SmallLinux?
Or..if there are not chances to get online with modem above,which modem I should buy?
Thanks very much for your help...I am just trying to throw away forever WindowsXP and any other Windows stuff.

Be sure to search ALL FORUMS and FROM THE BEGINNING or NEWER

Also, you can search google.com for keywords speedtouch and KNOPPIX

DSL is based on the knoppix livecd, so knoppix help may also work here.

after a lot of "Pc handling" and no connection with Alcatel USB,I bought a DLink ethernet 300T and now I am able to surf the web  and send/receive e-mails with DSL 0.9.3

Great OS,it's very nice to work with.
