i'm trying to install the xp drivers like this:
copy to ~/wireless
Code Sample | ndiswrapper -i ~/wireless/drivers.inf ndiswrapper -m modprobe ndiswrapper ndiswrapper -l Installed ndis drivers: tnet1130 hardware NOT present
|
do i need to copy firmware to my hd somewhere?
i would prefer ndis as it supports WEP (current linux acx111 drivers don't).
thx
edited: -lspci identifies the card -some status command (don't remmeber now) shows voltage 3.3v which seems normal. -tried rebooting, modprobing ndiswrapper, etc.. same results: hardware NOT present
do i need some dsl wireless packages perhaps? very lost here :\
