Hi there. I know that some of you have allready worked on a Server DSL edition but this subject seems to have been forgotten.
In the meanwhile (after discovering DSL) I have tried to set up my own version of DSL...namely "DSSe". For now, I made Apache2, PHP5 and Mysql as separate DSL files (fo easy upgrades). User controlled files are stored as Tar files (so everything works under /opt).
When i start the server from my hard disk insallation of DSL, it just runs perfectly.
Problem comes when i boot from the DSL CD (or should i say DSSe CD" ;-). PHP5 claims a missing libxml2 file. I tried to create a libxml2 dsl file but the problem remains...
A solution came up while i was trying the Inskape.dsl file i downloaded from myDSL. If i mount this DSL file first, the server starts smoothly from the CD. The question is WHY ? I suppose this DSL contains the necessery files for PHP5 to launch correctly...
Since i m running out of time, i ask for your help, fellow DSL lovers !
(and sorry for my bad english...)
