DSL is excellent. It is ideal for recovery of old equipment for restricted use.
There is one small problem. I am loading DSL onto an HP Vectra, which has an Alcatel SpeedTouch 330 usb ASDL modem connected. The Knoppix part of the boot-up/initialisation detects the modem, but fails to load the module speedtch.o. This is because a necessary module pppoatm.o or similar is not present in the list of drivers.
I can of course recompile the kernel to include the required driver, but it would be a great help if the missing driver could be included in the final distro.
