Hi, I searched through the forums but couldn't find an answer to my problem so here goes...

I just installed dsl but my network card is not getting an IP from my DSL router. Everything works fine under windows. Oh, by the way, I am running dsl inside windows. Should I disable the network card under windows first?

ifconfig shows eth0 with an IP address of 10.0.2.15 and route shows the gateway as 10.0.2.2. This is wrong as my dsl router is 10.0.0.138.

When I run netcardconfig it says sending DHCP broadcast from eth0 ok. But still I cannot ping my gateway and DHCP is not working.

What should I check? I also tried assigning a fixed IP address and gateway but it also doesn't work.

Regards,
Jano
